Brandon Coburn was born and raised in New York City, he has a formal training in architecture and secondary training in art history from The Pennsylvania State University.  Brandon is completely immersed within the art world, he is regularly attending art fairs around the world and working with the top galleries, dealers and auction houses. His background as an architect and his knowledge of art history allows him a unique perspective on collecting and collection management.

 

In New York, Brandon worked alongside Herbert Beckhard, James Wines of SITE and Ron Castellano, learning architectural design and construction.

Brandon then moved to Los Angeles, partnered with the John Pochna of the infamous 01 Gallery where he began his career in the art world. While there, he curated and worked with several important LA based artists including; Chaz Bojorquez, RETNA and Robert Williams.

 

Coburn Projects was developed in 2008 as an art collection management company. Currently Brandon is managing several private collections based in various locations around the world as well as working with artists and galleries to promote top quality work on a global state.
